About Us

Tineli was founded in 2005 by Tim and Sandy Vincent. Having spent several years mountain bike racing in Switzerland they knew how good cycling clothing could be, but were disappointed about the quality available Down Under. Tineli was founded to fill that gap and has quickly grown to become a leading manufacturer of custom printed and off-the-shelf cycling clothing.

Tim Vincent

Company founder and manager

Tim has spent 7 seasons based in Switzerland racing on the European mountain biking circuit. He has held numerous national titles, and has represented New Zealand at world championships on 7 occasions including in 2006 when he won the world solo 24-hour mountain bike championships.

Sandy Vincent

Company founder and graphic designer

Sandy grew up in Switzerland where she trained as a graphic designer. After discovering mountain biking she raced several seasons on the Swiss elite circuit and worked in the cycle industry as a graphic designer.

Robin Reid

Sales

Robin came to Tineli in 2008 after a long and successful career of road racing. He represented New Zealand at the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, and the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006. He is a two time national time trial champion and winner of the Tour of Wellington. Robin has retired from international competition but still wins the odd road race and recently made a few appearances in the elite field of off-road and long distance triathlons.

Jonathan (Jono) Kalma

VIC, NSW territory manager

Jono has been racing on and off road for the last 10 years as a junior through to elite and has placed in national events. Jono has come to Tineli from the glazing industry where he has 7 years experience as a sales manager.
