We caught up with Olivia Podmore, Olympic track cyclist, on her New Years resolutions of the biking kind:

" After racking up personals bests, medals and experience at the World Cups and Oceania's I decided to head home. So this year I got to spend the start of summer at home; training with a side of training. I worked very hard over December and that saw me through to racing in Tasmania in the New Year at the carnivals they hold over there! With some great results and a bit of sunshine, I returned home early January to start squad training again. I had a blast and the form is coming along nicely.

I have trials this month that will ultimately see whether my 2018 goals will be reached or reassessed - those being; performing personal bests at the world championships at the end of February in the Netherlands and being on the podium at the Commonwealth games in the team sprint and keirin.

I want to set the bar high for myself and keep enjoying what I do, I love riding my Tineli kit every day- makes my day job that much comfier. "

Olivia's Jersey pic of the month: QOM.  Even a track cyclist can be Queen!
