Gravel Glory: Cameron Jones Conquers Unbound 200
In the pale Kansas dawn, 200 miles of unforgiving gravel stretched ahead. For most riders, it’s a test of survival. For Cameron Jones, it became a stage for greatness.

Unbound 200 Gravel Prestart
The defining move came early, earlier than Cam really wanted. With 240km still to go, he bridged from the main bunch to a breakaway group, then rode right through them to launch a two man breakaway alongside Swiss pro Simon Pellaud.
Together, they forged a gap on the field — for hours, they shared the work and the wind and food and chain lube while building their lead against some of the strongest names in gravel racing.
The next photo tells a quiet story: Cam hunched low, shoulders squared, face set with determination. Behind that look is the effort: 295 watts average, 1096W max, and a ferocious 454W peak 5-minute power. Not stats — survival.
Cam made his move in the final kilometres riding clear of Pellaud to cross the line in 8 hours and 37 minutes. Arms raised, utterly spent, utterly victorious. He doesn’t just win — he sets a new Unbound 200 record.
This wasn’t just a win. It was a ride into legend — one athlete, one kit, one unforgettable performance.
